"I believe if you fall in love you should jump right in...."

So! It's been (almost) another three months. Turns out that I really don't care enough to bother updating this thing all that often. *Bets pay out, 4:1 odds* But I now have a wired apartment, so maybe I'll put up another before September. Yeah, right. (3:1 this time! Any takers?) Anyway, here goes....

Well. Since I last posted, I've graduated from NYU. Classes ended up okay, despite my endless procrastination. I wound up with a decent G.P.A. Not great, but decent. And I'm a college grad. WEIRD...SO WEIRD! Un-freakin-believable that I'm already done with college. It was four absolutely incredible years. I had a blast, and I'd like to thank every single person who made it so amazing. Thanks. You rock. For the creepy online psychopaths who are stalking cyber-me without ever talking to the flesh-and-blood version, I graduated with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Classical Civilization. Both are worthless as far as landing a job, but both are quite interesting.

Speaking of jobs, I'm paying my rent by catering. It's fairly lame, but the hours are flexible. Flexible hours are crucial because I plan to start heading to auditions soon...I want to see what happens with the whole aspiring-NYC-actor thing. In all likelihood, nothing will, but I know that if I don't try then I'll wind up kicking myself a few years down the line. So I'm hoping to be in the right place at the right time. Wish me luck!

And on the topic of rent, my new apartment is AMAZING. I'm rooming with my buddies Richie Brownstein and Adam Hertz. If you're reading this, you probably know Richie - he's awesome. Adam and I haven't been close for as long, but he's also a great guy and it's been sweet living with him so far. We live in a huge loft in Brooklyn, just across the Williamsburg Bridge, nextdoor to Peter Luger's Steakhouse. We haven't actually eaten there yet, but we will...and oh, man, am I stoked! Number one steaks in New York City! Not to mention that our actual apartment is incredible. Huge place with hardwood floors, 12' ceilings, brick walls AND a 600 square foot room in the basement! And all this can be yours for a very reasonable price....

Last but definitely far from least: regarding the title of this post...yep. It's true. I'm in love. Head-over-heels, totally, entirely in love. Unbelievable, I know. It pretty much came out of nowhere, but I met a girl who completely and utterly blew me away. You know how a lot of times you think you want something really badly and then when you get it you realize that you really didn't want it as much as you'd thought? And, on the converse, every so often you end up with something you didn't think you wanted or needed - but once you have it, you realize how much you needed it? Well, that's what happened. (The second one, if you're really that dense...moron.) What with me being me, I felt no need for a relationship, but there was such an amazing connection with this girl that it was a given. From the first day we spent together I knew I would fall in love with her. She is absolutely incredible, and every moment I spend with her makes me realize that I'm completely unworthy to occupy the same space that she does...and yet, somehow, she seems to be rather taken with me as well. So she's obviously crazy, but aside from that one minor flaw, she seems sane enough. It seems things are, for once, absolutely great in the female department. Surprise, I know. But hey, I'm not complaining!

Anything else to report? Well, the play went very well. I had an excellent time and people seemed to enjoy it, even though it was quite dark. I'm currently in my hometown of Yakima, WA. We depart tomorrow for Alaska. It's my mom's parents' 50th anniversary this summer, so we're going on a cruise in celebration - 'we' being my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, Mom, Dad and brother Kyle. It's going to be awesome. After the cruise I'll come back to the Yak for a couple days, then return to my glorious New York. So there, that's all the news in this Byron's world. Hope everyone out there in cyberspace is doing alright. Until next time!

Peace.
